On Wednesday of last week I found myself pining for my sweetheart (who lives in another city). I had an appointment at 2pm but it was only 12:45. I heard a voice in my head say "go to the water". So I did.
Now, astrologically, I am a 'water' sign. I don't know if that is the reason, but I am almost instantly hypnotized by water. I can literally sit on the bank of a creek or river for hours watching the amazing patterns as the water splashes and flows. Every single second there is a shape or an action happening and everyone of them is completely unique. It's a great metaphor for phenomena.
So, this water gazing is great fodder for the deepest words and feelings. In an effort to enjoy this more often, I will enter a post on this blog weekly. Then I will be obligated to have my 'water time'.
I am not quite sure how this is going to go. The 'news' that I received last time I went to the water all seems like it is instructional. I don't know if it will always be that way. I will label the entries as a newspaper section for clarity.

Use your love as a salve for your eyes.
The way that I interpret this is something like 'don't keep your love locked in your heart' [and other places;) ]. Anoint your whole body with it. Tap into your capacity to feel love and let that itself soothe you.
When I am wanting some loving attention, all of my focus turns to me and MY discomfort. If I can take the origin of that craving and smear it all over myself, not only does it ease my discomfort but it helps me change my view of the world.
